Wearables and music
Seitdem Musik auf Tonträger gepresst wird, sind Menschen in der Lage, Klänge zu transportieren: Vinyl, Kompaktkassette, CDs und heute mp3s. Wir können Musik mit dem Smartphone überall mit hinnehmen. Die neue Technik erlaubt es uns aber auch, Musik neu zu erfahren und auch neu zu erschaffen. Kleine Geräte werden am Körper wie ein Kleidungsstück getragen. In unserer Rubrik „Mensch-Maschine-Prototypen“ schaut sich Dennis Kastrup die „Wearables“ genauer an.
Ever since music has been pressed onto sound carriers, people have been able to transport sounds: Vinyl, compact cassette, CDs and now mp3s. We can take music anywhere with our smartphones. But the new technology also allows us to experience music in a new way and to create music anew. Small devices are worn on the body like a piece of clothing. In our section “Man-Machine Prototypes” Dennis Kastrup takes a closer look at the “wearables”.
