Superwolves
Die Diskographie von Will Oldham ist beeindruckend: Seit Anfang der 90er Jahre hat der US-Amerikaner sage und schreibe 26 Alben veröffentlicht. Die meisten davon unter seinem Pseudonym Bonnie Prince Billy. 2005 reihte sich in diese Liste auch das Album „Superwolf“ ein, eine Zusammenarbeit mit dem Gitarristen Matt Sweeney, der unter anderem auch bei den Bands Skunk, Chavez und Zwan mitgespielt hat. Das Duo wurde auf Grund der vielen Erfahrung auch gerne in die Kategorie „Supergroup“ eingeordnet. Diesen Freitag erscheint nun das Nachfolger-Album digital. Sie haben es schlicht und einfach „Superwolves“ genannt, also der Plural. Dennis Kastrup hat die beiden gesprochen.
Will Oldham’s discography is impressive: Since the beginning of the 90s, the US American has released no less than 26 albums. Most of them under his pseudonym Bonnie Prince Billy. In 2005, this list included the album “Superwolf”, a collaboration with guitarist Matt Sweeney, who has also played with the bands Skunk, Chavez and Zwan, among others. The duo has also been readily categorized as a “supergroup” due to their wealth of experience. This Friday, the successor album is now released digitally. They have called it simply “Superwolves”, so the plural.
