So it was only logical that artists tried to attract attention with the latest technologies: new special effects and camera angles were tried out. Music has always been a driver of ideas. That’s still the case today. Now, the innovation is called “artificial intelligence.” Many musicians and bands are now experimenting with it. The Wu-Tang Clan attracted attention with an AI video at the beginning of January. What is currently possible and who is now on the market with the new technology?

Musik war eben immer schon ein Treiber von Ideen. Das ist auch heute noch so. Jetzt heißt die Innovation „Künstliche Intelligenz“. Mit ihr experimentieren mittlerweile viele Musiker*innen und Bands. Der Wu-Tang Clan sorgte erst Anfang Januar mit einem KI-Video für Aufmerksamkeit. Was ist derzeit möglich und wer ist mit der neuen Technologie auf dem Markt?
