Mit ihrem neuen Album „Goodnight City“ kehrt Martha Wainwright zu ihren Wurzeln zurück. Entstanden ist es in ihrem Haus im Montréaler Stadtteil „Outremont“. Nach dem Tod ihrer Mutter Kate McGarrigle zog sie zusammen mit ihrem Ehemann und den beiden Kindern wieder dorthin, wo sie aufgewachsen ist.
With her new album “Goodnight City” Martha Wainwright returns to her roots. It originated in her house in the Montréal district “Outremont”. After the death of her mother Kate McGarrigle, she moved back to where she grew up with her husband and two children.
