Future of music listening
Mit Hilfe von technologischen Entwicklungen kann Musik auf ganz unterschiedliche Arten gehört werden: Zuerst gab es das Grammophon, später dann Plattenspieler und Kassettenrekorder. Mit dem Walkman lernten Songs das Laufen. Das Aufkommen von Computern sorgte dafür, dass mp3s mit Hilfe von kleinen Lautsprechern gehört werden können. Heute streamen wir mit Sprachassistenten in unserer Wohnung oder mit dem Smartphone. Und Kopfhörer können sich an die unterschiedlichen Bedürfnisse der Benutzer anpassen, indem sie bestimmte Frequenzen eines Songs herausfiltern. Immer neue Erfindungen sorgen also für neue Hörgewohnheiten.
With the help of technological developments, music can be heard in many different ways: First there was the gramophone, later on there were record players and tape recorders. Songs learned to walk with the Walkman. The advent of computers made it possible to listen to mp3s with little loudspeakers. Today we stream with voice assistants in our homes or with our smartphones. And headphones can adapt to the different needs of users by filtering out certain frequencies of a song. So new inventions are always creating new listening habits.
