Echo Singers – Schoolproject from Canada
On the internet, we can reach the most remote corners of the earth. This applies not only to pictures of places, but of course also to music. Sometimes it happens that you suddenly stumble across a song, a melody or a vocal online and want to find out more about it. This is what happened to the creators of the small music label “Grace Juwellers”. A few months ago, Lars Hillebrand and Timo Katz discovered a Canadian school project from the late 70s. They then decided to re-release the original version 40 years later under the name “Echo Singers“.
Im Internet können wir in die abgelegensten Winkel der Erde vordringen. Das gilt nicht nur für Bilder von Orten, sondern natürlich auch für Musik. Manchmal passiert es, dass man online plötzlich über einen Song, eine Melodie oder einen Gesang stolpert und mehr darüber erfahren will. So geschehen bei den Machern des kleinen Musik-Liebhaberlabels „Grace Juwellers“. Lars Hillebrand und Timo Katz entdeckten vor ein paar Monaten ein kanadisches Schulprojekt von Ende der 70er Jahre. Sie haben dann entschieden, die Original-Version 40 Jahre später unter dem Namen „Echo Singers“ noch einmal zu veröffentlichen.
