Digital Stalking
Stalking beschreibt das willentliche und wiederholte Verfolgen oder Belästigen einer Person, deren physische oder psychische Unversehrtheit dadurch unmittelbar, mittelbar oder langfristig bedroht und geschädigt werden kann. In Deutschland gilt das als Straftat. Laut Zahlen von Statista wurden im Jahr 2018 der Polizei ungefähr 19.000 Fälle von Stalking gemeldet. Die Dunkelziffer ist wohl noch größer. Stalking findet heutzutage auch auf dem Smartphone, Tablet oder Computer statt.

According to Statista figures, in 2018 approximately 19,000 cases of stalking were reported to the police in Germany. The number of unreported cases is probably even higher. Stalking nowadays also takes place on smartphones, tablets or computers.
