Auf YouTube, Reddit, TikTok und Instagram tummeln sie sich seit vergangenem Jahr in Scharen: Songs, in denen der Gesang mit Hilfe einer Künstlichen Intelligenz erzeugt wurde. Jemand singt eine Melodie ein, um daraus dann durch die KI eine andere, prominente Stimme zu imitieren. Die Tonfarbe wird dabei so verändert, dass sie tatsächlich täuschend ähnlich wie die eines Popstars klingt. Viele dieser Stücke sind aber ohne die Zustimmung und damit auch ohne Bezahlung, der kopierten Künstler*innen erzeugt worden. Schon allein urheberrechtlich ein Riesenproblem. Das soll sich jetzt ändern. Es gibt bereits Plattformen, bei denen man legal andere Stimmen für den eigenen Gesang benutzen kann.

Someone sings a melody and the AI then imitates another prominent voice. The tone color is changed so that it actually sounds deceptively similar to that of a pop star. However, many of these songs have been created without the consent of the copied artists and therefore without payment. A huge problem in terms of copyrights. This is now set to change. There are already platforms where you can legally use other voices for your own vocals.
