Hildegard: First album from Helena Deland and Ouri
Helena Deland und Ourielle „Ouri“ Auvé sind in der Musikszene und besonders im kanadischen Montréal keine Unbekannten. Ouri hat sich in den vergangenen Jahren in der elektronischen Clubkultur einen Namen gemacht. Delands elektronischer Folk-Pop sorgte 2020 mit dem Debütalbum für Aufsehen. Vor drei Jahren teilten sich ihre beiden Manager ein Büro. Dort entstand dann die damals spontane Idee, ihre Künstlerinnen gemeinsam Musik machen zu lassen und sich kennen zu lernen. Denn mehr als die Musik der anderen kannten die beiden bis dahin nicht. Gesagt, getan und so gründete sich das Duo „Hildegard“. Diesen Freitag wurde das erste Album der Frauen aus dem frankophonen Québec veröffentlicht.

Deland’s electronic folk-pop caused a stir in 2020 with their debut album. Three years ago, their two managers shared an office. It was there that they came up with the then-spontaneous idea of letting their female artists make music together and get to know each other. Because until then, the two didn’t know more than each other’s music. No sooner said than done and so the duo “Hildegard” was founded.
