Augmented Music

Music is often an interplay of different musicians and their instruments. Everything interlocks and complements each other. The computer has been one of these new players for some time now. In the meantime, artificial intelligence can not only write music itself, but also improve it live, in real time. Augmented music is what we call this. Dennis Kastrup took a look at the current status and spoke with Alex Braga. For the pianist it all started with a problem: The Italian felt restricted in his creativity during live performances and wanted to play more instruments on stage at the same time than he actually could.
